How to Make your Preschooler Dragonfly Craft

Here we will show you step by step the easiest way to make this dragonfly craft.

This is a great project for preschoolers and makes super cute dragonfly toys to play with after.

Our little ones love zipping around the room playing with their flying dragonfly’s pretending they are on a fun buggy adventure.

Step 1: Starting your Dragonfly

To start your dragonfly craft, grab 1 popsicle stick, 1 of the large pompoms and 5 or 6 of your smaller pompoms.

Apply a small drop of glue onto one side of your popsicle stick toward the top where your dragonfly’s head will be.

Step 6: Form the Rest of the Dragonfly’s Body

Now that your wings are attached, start gluing more small pompoms under your other pompoms down the popsicle stick.

This will form the rest of your dragonfly’s colorful body.
